  • Mat Pilates classes combine contemporary & classical pilates methods. Exercises include a range of positions (supine (on your back), prone (on your stomach), side lying and standing) to increase core strength, joint mobility, balance and coordination while simultaneously strengthening and stretching the body.
    • Required equipment: fitness mat or equivalent (towel, rug or carpet)
    • Optional equipment (not required, but can be incorporated if you have it): resistance band(s), magic circle, squishy ball or pillow, set of light weights (1-3 lbs), foam roller
  • Pilates @ the Barre classes incorporate pilates & ballet inspired conditioning exercises. Balance and coordination are challenged while performing standing exercises to sculpt the core, legs & arms. Prior experience with ballet, dance or pilates is not required.
    • Required equipment: stable surface to hold onto for balance as needed (chair, dresser, counter or ballet barre) and fitness mat or equivalent (towel, rug or carpet)
    • Optional equipment (not required, but can be incorporated if you have it): resistance band(s), magic circle, squishy ball or pillow, set of light weights (1-3 lbs), gliders or hand towel
  • Strength Training classes build strength in all major muscle groups, increase bone density, and improve resilience. Exercises will take place standing, kneeling, and lying down, though all exercises are easily adaptable to all skills, ages, and abilities using the equipment that you have available.
    • Required equipment: sneakers/fitness shoes, fitness mat or equivalent (towel, rug or carpet), free weights (size depending on your skill set) and/or resistance band(s)
    • Optional equipment (not required, but can be incorporated if you have it): knee pad/hand towel/pillow and stable surface to hold onto for balance (chair, dresser, counter or ballet barre)
